Back to business

Colt is getting back to business after his holiday surgery and new year bronchitis. He’s healed up really nicely and to this observer, he looks like he’s feeling great.

In the picture he’s wearing his AFOs and shoes. He’ll wear them for 15 minutes a day to get back into form. The stander is coming back soon so he needs to be comfortable in his gear.

He’s home

They sent us home with a nebulizer, and Colt hates it!! He was so tired that when Bree laid him him down he didn’t make a peep!! I think he was glad to be home…that is until he realized that dumb mask came home with him. More later

Rough day for the new year

Colt is spending the night at Cook Children’s. He had a rough night coughing last night and was really breathing hard this morning. Mimi and his mom took him to the ER earlier today after not being able to get into the pediatrician.

Long story short is that he has an ear infection and some viral bronchitis. He’s responded well to breathing treatments and they are keeping him overnight as a precaution. As long as he doesn’t need any oxygen through the night they will send him home tomorrow.
